The ultra-exclusive Los Angeles hangout San Vincente Bungalows is where the Duke and Duchess of Sussex recently spent a date night, but this isn’t their only favorite restaurant in Hollywood.
According to information that has come to light, Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan have also been to the Polo Lounge at the Beverly Hills Hotel for a special occasion. The royal father was said to have been “very nice” while they were there.

The Beverly Hills Hotel, also known as the “Pink Palace,” is tucked away up a private drive among palm trees on Sunset Boulevard in Beverly Hills, California, and is a famous hangout for the city’s famous and powerful.
Did you know that Elizabeth Taylor frequently stayed in one of the hotel’s renowned, secluded bungalows during her wedding?
When you arrive at the upscale hotel, you are immediately welcomed by well-groomed doormen who are waiting for you on the opulent red carpet at the entrance.

With marble floors and black-and-white pictures of Hollywood stars who have visited adorning the walls, the interior decor is as opulent as you might expect. Mick Jagger, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Catherine Zeta-Jones are just a few of the Hollywood stars who have graced this establishment.
The Polo Lounge restaurant is well-known for drawing famous people; Frank Sinatra used to eat at the same table every time he went there, and Marilyn Monroe was a frequent customer.

According to the hotel’s website, the lounge is: “Beverly Hills’ most intriguing room is still humming with hot names and even hotter stories. The Polo Lounge, considered the center of LA power dining, has long been a favorite hangout for celebrities and businessmen in Hollywood.”
We can picture Harry and Meghan enjoying the “American cuisine with an Italian edge” that the restaurant offers. The grand chocolate soufflé, oysters, American wagyu burgers, and caviar are just a few of the items on the menu.

Even a drink called Elizabeth’s Chocolate Martini is named after Elizabeth Taylor. Fried chicken with mashed potatoes and lots of gravy was the star’s go-to indulgent meal.
Diners at the Polo Lounge have the option of sitting in the restaurant’s main room or its more private back room with its cozy booths. We guess that quite a few movie deals took place here.

There is a formal dress code as well. In accordance with the directive to “dress for the occasion,” men’s sleeveless shirts, casual hats, ripped denim, crop tops, nightgowns, and swimwear are prohibited. After 4pm, shorts, flip-flops, and athletic attire are not permitted.
A beautiful outdoor space called the “Polo Patio” is the ideal place for a stylish breakfast or a romantic dinner because tables there are surrounded by pretty palm trees and flowers.

The history of the Beverly Hills Hotel is intriguing. Prior to LA even existing as a location for people to look at property in the area, it opened on May 12th, 1912. “Guests are entitled to the best of everything regardless of cost!” was the original hotel motto.
