After months of speculation, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced their engagement in November 2017. Harry had been dating Meghan, then an actress, for several months at the time, and royal fans were eager to see if the two would marry.

The couple said they were introduced by a “mutual friend” in their sit-down interview following their engagement announcement.
