Easter Sunday falls on April 9 this year. Children all over the world, including Prince Archie, age 3, and Princess Lilibet, age 21, will undoubtedly be excited to find delicious chocolate eggs.
The kids of Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan are fortunate to reside in a sizable mansion in Montecito, California, which features a sizable garden for the crucial Easter egg hunt. The royal couple recently released a Netflix docuseries that included footage from a previous egg hunt at their residence, so we know the Sussex family enjoys celebrating Easter.
In the video clip, Harry places a cardboard bunny in the flowerbed, and we also get to see a cute Jemima Puddle-Duck character as they set up an Easter egg hunt for Archie in their garden.
The trail was set up in the grounds of their expansive private estate, which included a stream and lovely flowerbeds. At the time, Meghan was expecting Lilibet, but she still joined in the fun by putting markers in the ground to direct her son.
There are numerous locations to hide Easter eggs in the Sussexes’ seven-acre garden if they decide to designate a similar trail for their kids this year.
The playground at Archie and Lilibet, which has two slides, a climbing frame, a tightrope, a helter-skelter, and two different climbing walls, is a great place to hide eggs and is also a ton of fun for kids.
Maybe the parents will hide some treats in the garden for the kids to find, or maybe they’ll put them in the chicken coop, dubbed “Archie’s Chick Inn,” where they can also gather some real eggs. Hens that Harry and Meghan rescued from a farm are all over the coop.
Two palm trees that connect at the bottom make up one of the couple’s favorite spots in their garden; perhaps some Easter eggs will be hidden there for Archie and Lilibet this year.
