How Prince Harry paid sweet tribute to son Archie on NY tour

Last week, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle went on a three-day tour of New York City. During one of his visits, the Duke of Sussex paid a special tribute to his elder child Archie, which royal fans may have noticed.

Last week, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had a jam-packed schedule as they travelled to New York for a series of engagements. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex paid a visit to One World Trade Center on Thursday as part of their trip.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were accompanied to the observatory by New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio and New York State Governor Kathy Hochul.

The couple also paid their respects to the victims of the September 11 attacks by paying a visit to the memorial in the city.

Prince Harry paid a special tribute to his son on the trip, despite the fact that the couple’s children were not present due to engagements in New York.

Harry was seen holding a laptop case while visiting the One World Trade Center.

On closer inspection, the case revealed an endearing inscription: ‘Archie’s Papa.’

Meghan and Harry had a packed schedule of meetings in the city last week, in addition to their visit to the One World Trade Center.

On Saturday, the couple paid a visit to the United Nations in New York, where they met Amina Mohammed, the UN Deputy Secretary-General.

As they left the UN headquarters after the engagement, Meghan told reporters, “It was a lovely meeting.”

Later that day, the couple went to the Global Citizen Live concert, which was held in New York’s iconic Central Park.

The concert aimed to raise awareness about the importance of combating climate change and to encourage wealthy countries to share Covid vaccines with countries in need.

Vaccine equity is a cause close to Meghan and Harry’s hearts, and it’s something their charity Archewell hopes to help with.

The Sussexes’ trip to New York was their first joint engagement since the birth of their second child this summer.

Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor, Harry and Meghan’s daughter, was born in June.

Lilibet’s name is a sweet homage to the Queen, who has been known as Lilibet since she was a child.

Diana was also chosen as the baby’s middle name in honour of Harry’s late mother, Princess Diana.

The Sussexes said their daughter will be known as ‘Lili’ when Lilibet Diana’s name was announced earlier this year.

“Lili is named after her great-grandmother, Her Majesty the Queen, whose family nickname is Lilibet,” according to a statement.

“Diana was chosen as her middle name in honour of her late grandmother, Princess of Wales.”
