Kate Middleton celebrates family baby joy with sister Pippa

The Cambridge, Kate Middleton , and Matthews families will be celebrating Pippa Middleton’s daughter Grace’s first birthday this week. On March 15, 2021, Pippa and her husband James Matthews welcomed their second child, Grace Elizabeth Jane Matthews.

The family and relatives will almost certainly be celebrating the little girl’s birthday today or later this week. Pippa and her older sister Kate are extremely close, and the Duchess is likely to have planned a special present for her one-year-old niece.

Last year, a family source told HELLO! that Pippa had given birth to a healthy baby girl on Monday, March 15th, at around 4:22 a.m., weighing 6lbs 7oz. “Both mother and child are fine,” the source said. “She’s perfect, and everyone is ecstatic at her arrival.”

While Pippa’s mother-in-name law’s is Jane, Elizabeth is a reference to Pippa’s own mother Carole and sister Kate, who both have the moniker as a middle name.

Pippa and James are also the proud parents of Arthur, who is three years old. On October 15, 2018, the author and columnist gave birth in the Lindo Wing of St Mary’s Hospital in London, the same location where Kate gave birth to all three of her royal children.

“Being active with my 2.5-year-old son in the park or playground, transporting him on the back of my bike, and buggy running when he was a baby have been ways in which I have been able to include outdoor exercise while being a hands-on mummy,” Pippa said in an interview with sportswear label Hoka One last year.

“Being from such an active family has rubbed off on my son; he loves nothing more than running wild in the woods, parks, and fields with our two dogs, even if it’s howling and pouring rain,” she continued.
