Kate Middleton hugs son Prince George is rare public display of affection – and fans go wild

On Sunday, Kate Middleton and her son Prince George joined Prince William at Wembley Stadium to watch England take on Italy in the Euro 2020 final, and royal fans were overjoyed.

Fans loved seeing the nearly eight-year-old sing the national anthem with his parents and cheer from the royal box during the 90-minute game, but the moment when George hugged his mother Kate and father William tugged at their hearts.

Following England’s first goal, cameras panned to George, who celebrated with his parents by jumping up and down. The Prince hugged his father quickly before turning to embrace his mother, who was beaming from ear to ear. After a few more seconds of jubilation, George gathered himself and tucked his shirt in.

“This is one of the sweetest royal moments I’ve ever seen! The fact that the babies are such cuddle monsters is unsurprising. The little ones will grow up to be just as affectionate as their parents, W&K. Their parents’ passion for sports has already been passed down to them “a supporter remarked.

Another said, “Seeing St George, sorry Prince George, give a hug to mum and dad was the best thing I’ve seen all year.”

“Prince George hugging his mother and father after the goal was just the cutest [expletive] I’ve seen in a while,” a third added.

Despite England’s loss, the family had a great time at the stadium, where they were surrounded by celebrities such as David Beckham, who brought his daughter Harper and son Cruz, and Hollywood star Tom Cruise.
