As the British royal family arrives at Balmoral, photos have emerged of the Duchess of Cambridge sporting a somber expression. On Thursday in Windsor, Kate was seen driving her car to pick up her three kids from school.
The news comes as the royal family has traveled to Scotland to be by the Queen’s bedside after learning that she is being monitored by doctors because they are worried about her health.

According to flight tracking website Flightradar24.com, Royal Air Force flight KRF23R took off from RAF Northolt in South Ruislip, west London, at 2.39 and landed at Aberdeen airport at 3.50, which is about an hour’s drive from Balmoral.
Prince William, Prince Andrew, Prince Edward, and his wife the Countess of Wessex were among the royal family members aboard.
Prince Harry is reportedly traveling to Balmoral on his own rather than with the other royals, but his travel arrangements have been coordinated with those of the other family members.

Along with Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, Kate stayed in Windsor.
Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall have also traveled to Balmoral to be with the Queen in the interim.
Prior to this, Palace representatives disclosed that the Queen is being monitored by doctors at Balmoral after her health started to worry them.

A Palace representative stated: “The Queen’s doctors have expressed concern for her health following additional testing this morning and advised that she continue to be under close observation. The Queen stays put at Balmoral in comfort.” The latest announcement increased concerns for the monarch’s health, and the immediate family members of the Queen were informed. On Wednesday, the head of state backed out of a fictitious Privy Council after being told to rest by doctors.
