Kate Middleton’s royal return revealed as first engagement after summer break confirmed

On Wednesday, Kate Middleton will travel to RAF Brize Norton in Oxfordshire to meet some of the military personnel and civilians involved in Operation PITTING. This operation, which lasted from August 14 to August 28, saw civilians evacuated from Afghanistan after the Taliban regained control of the country.

Kate will meet people who have been directly involved in the largest humanitarian aid operation in the last seven decades while at the base.

RAF aircrew and medics who assisted people at Kabul airport will be among them.

The Duchess will also meet with civilians and volunteers who helped set up a repatriation centre at an RAF base in Oxfordshire and continued to provide aid and supplies to Afghan refugees.

On August 31, the US-led air evacuation operation came to an end.

Western forces evacuated more than 123,000 civilians.

At the end of last month, the Ministry of Defense announced that it had flown out more than 15,000 people, including more than 8,000 Afghans.

This latest exodus from Afghanistan is in addition to the 2.2 million Afghan refugees who have fled to neighbouring countries in recent years.

Furthermore, approximately 3.5 million people have been forced to flee their homes but have remained within Afghanistan’s borders.

Kensington Palace’s latest announcement on Kate’s return was warmly received by royal fans.

“Yaay very important cause to be her first engagement since her summer break started,” one Twitter user wrote.

“Way to go, Catherine,” said another.

Kate was last seen in public on July 11, when she and Prince William and Prince George attended the Wimbledon Men’s Singles final in the afternoon and the EURO 2020 final in the evening at Wembley Stadium.

Kate will put an end to speculation about the reason for her long absence from the public eye by resuming royal visits.

People have been wondering if the Duchess’s absence has anything to do with a new pregnancy, according to royal commentator Russell Myers.

“I think this is a few people mischief-making, asking where the royals are,” he told Today Australia.

“Well, I can probably reveal nothing exclusively.”

“I think that the Duchess isn’t pregnant, I think that some people have been asking the question of where has Kate been?

“However, the truth is that they have been on vacation.”

Kate, William, and their three children, according to sources, spent a few days on the Isles of Scilly, similar to what they did last year.

The Cambridges reportedly spent the last week of August at Balmoral Castle for a traditional Scottish stay with the Queen, according to Vanity Fair.

Finally, a source claimed to have seen Kate and Prince William teaching George, Charlotte, and Louis how to sail in Norfolk, according to the magazine.

While the Duchess of Cambridge will resume royal engagements tomorrow, Prince William did so last week when he paid a visit to Dockhead Fire Station in south London to commemorate Emergency Services Day.
