Just a day after Prince Harry showed up unexpectedly in London to attend a court proceeding, his father King Charles has cause to rejoice.
The royal family’s fans received some heartwarming news on Tuesday, according to a statement from Buckingham Palace.
In keeping with tradition, the royal family is oblivious to the controversy surrounding King Charles’ youngest son.
The royal palace announced that King Charles has succeeded his late mother, the Queen, as Colonel-in-Chief of the Corps of Royal Engineers (also known as the Sappers).
Lieutenant General Sir Tyrone Urch, Chief Royal Engineer, said: “I am beyond thrilled that His Majesty The King has agreed to be our new Colonel-in-Chief.
“This is a tremendous honor and continues a long-standing custom that His Majesty King Edward VII began in 1904.
“The entire Sapper family will be inspired by this wonderful news,”
Harry is in the UK as part of a group of prominent people suing the Daily Mail’s publishers, ANL, for alleged misuse of private information and unauthorized information gathering (Associated Newspapers Limited).
Due in large part to the explosive statements he has made about his loved ones, his relationships with the royal family continue to be at an all-time low.
As a result, we understand the King has no plans for them to get back together, despite the fact that he will probably stay in London for at least four days.
Harry may have been informed that his father would be busy between now and the time he left for Germany on Wednesday.
Harry seems to have made his way to London by himself; neither Meghan nor their kids have been seen.
He has previously stated that returning to the UK with his family would be too dangerous. Because of this, it is currently unknown if the Sussexes will attend the King’s coronation on May 6.
It’s anticipated that the Prince will spend this week’s visit at Frogmore Cottage.
King Charles has ordered Harry and Meghan to leave their UK residence because they are no longer active royals and have moved permanently to the US, it was confirmed earlier this month.
