Meghan Markle and Prince Harry treat Lilibet to incredible birthday cake – see photo

On Saturday, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle celebrated their daughter Lilibet Diana’s first birthday at Frogmore Cottage, their UK home.

While few details about the backyard picnic have been revealed, we do know that the kids were treated to face painting and a delicious cake by Claire Ptak of East London’s Violet Bakery, who also designed the Duke and Duchess’ wedding cake in 2018.

Claire shared a photo of a cake, which looked very similar to Meghan and Harry’s wedding cake from 2018

Claire has shared a beautiful picture of a cake that resembles the couple’s wedding cake, decorated with pink frosting and three peonies, Meghan’s favorite flower, since Lili’s birthday party on Saturday, and fans are certain that it’s Lili’s birthday cake.

“Might this be the cake for the lovely Lili?” Claire’s followers wondered as she simply captioned the photo with a white heart.

“Is that Lili’s cake?” a third inquired. “Beautiful cake for a beautiful little girl!” exclaimed a third.

Harry and Meghan’s wedding cake also featured peonies, Meghan’s favourite flower

While the Sussexes have not released a photo of the cake, they have released a beautiful photo of their daughter taken by family friend Misan Harriman, who attended the casual, intimate backyard picnic with his family at Frogmore Cottage.

The young girl is dressed in a baby blue dress with a white bow in her hair in the photo. Her ginger hair matches that of her father Harry and older brother Archie.

Misan posted another photo to his Instagram account, this time featuring Meghan and Lili, as well as his wife Camilla and two children.

He captioned the photo as follows: “It was an honor to celebrate Lilibet’s first birthday with my family and hers! There was a lot of laughter and face painting going on.”
