The Duchess of Sussex has released a statement ahead of her and Prince Harry's outing in Vancouver

Meghan Markle has released a rare statement to defend the new Sussex website

The website that she and Prince Harry relaunched has received support from the Duchess of Sussex.

Sussex.com was unveiled by Meghan and Harry on Monday, but their choice—which included using their coat of arms—has drawn criticism.

Meghan wrote the following as a testimonial on Article’s website: “I have worked with Ryan and the talented team at Article for ten years because of their thoughtful approach to design and user experience, as well as their attention to detail, creativity, and care.

They work with you to transform your ideas into visual identities; they are more than just designers. They are a truly unique business. I’m a fan because they’re Canadian as well.”

Article is the company behind Meghan’s now-defunct lifestyle blog, The Tig, in addition to designing Harry and Meghan’s website and their pages for The Archewell Foundation and Archewell Productions.

We are aware that the Office of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex is running the website as a “one-stop shop” for all of their endeavors.

The website links back to the contentious Sussex Royal website that Harry and Meghan set up to announce their decision to resign as senior royals in January 2020, in addition to their Archewell Foundation and Archewell Productions.

We recognize that the website is distinct from the new one and linked to Sussex.com as a cultural and historical allusion.

News about the pair’s endeavors will also be shared on the website. The Duchess’ agreement to start a new podcast series with Lemonada Media was revealed on Tuesday.

Following one season of Meghan Markle’s audio program Archetypes, the Sussexes’ agreement with the massive streaming service Spotify terminated last summer.
