The Duchess of Sussex once acknowledged that she is a “sucker” for Valentine’s Day, and there is no doubt that the 14th of February will be even more special for her now that she will be spending the day with her husband, Prince Harry, and their children, Archie and Lilibet.
Harry and Meghan seem to be classic romantics, as they discussed their first date and the Prince’s understated garden proposal with electric candles in their Netflix docuseries.

The former actress once shared her ideal Valentine’s Day gift, writing on The Tig: “In terms of gifts, be it breakfast in bed, a sweet love note, or a single flower…it really is the thought that counts.” Harry and Meghan are probably going to spend the day alone.
We are aware that Meghan is very considerate when it comes to giving gifts because she sent a leatherbound notebook and a handwritten note to each contributor to the British Vogue September 2019 issue, which she guest-edited.
And we are aware that Meghan prefers personalized touches when it comes to Harry and their kids. After the birth of their daughter Lilibet in June 2021, the Duchess wrote her husband a love poem, as was revealed in Harry’s autobiography, Spare.

From their Netflix series, Meghan could also be seen spoiling their children on their birthdays. For Archie’s special day, the Duchess was seen creating an amazing balloon arch, and last year, she organized a tea party in the garden at Frogmore Cottage to celebrate Lilibet turning one.
The Sussexes will always remember Valentine’s Day of 2021 because it was the day they revealed they were expecting their second child.
It was similar to Princess Diana’s Valentine’s Day 1984 announcement of her pregnancy with Prince Harry.
Harry claimed that after they revealed the pregnancy, two individuals sent him a newspaper front page from that day showing his mother announcing Harry’s pregnancy.
“We had no idea, the Duke admitted in the Netflix documentary, “I was shocked. It might not have been a coincidence after all.”

The Sussexes will commemorate their fifth wedding anniversary in May, but back in 2015, Meghan posted some encouraging advice for singles on her blog.
When she wrote that: “You should, in my opinion, be your own Valentine. I believe you should prepare that lovely meal even if it’s just the two of you, dress to impress, buy yourself some flowers, and celebrate the self-love that frequently gets muddled when we concentrate on what we lack.”
