The Duchess of Sussex unveiled her new venture American Riviera Orchard on 14 March

Meghan Markle’s new brand will give ‘glimpse into Montecito lifestyle’

Earlier this month, the Duchess of Sussex finally returned to Instagram and shared a sneak peek at her newest project.

American Riviera Orchard is Meghan’s new website, but the Duchess is keeping fans in suspense until she gives them all the information about what her company will offer.

A whimsical video featuring Meghan picking flowers, baking, and dancing in a little black dress seemed to suggest that it will be a lifestyle brand. Meanwhile, print and digital cookbooks, cutlery, dinnerware, decanters, napkins, and tablecloths, as well as a variety of foods, including spreads, butters, and jams, are all mentioned in trademark application filings.

According to MailOnline, there is an additional extension that includes a list of cosmetic and beauty products, such as haircare, soaps, and scented oils.

The Tig, Meghan’s previous lifestyle blog, was referred to as “a hub for the discerning palate – those with a hunger for food, travel, fashion & beauty,” and is now considered to be an evolution of that blog.

Before she married Prince Harry in 2017, the Duchess wrote a heartfelt farewell to the website’s visitors. “Keep finding those Tig moments of discovery, keep laughing and taking risks, and keep being “the change you wish to see in the world,” she wrote.”

Christine Ross, a royal expert, told HELLO! that Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, should go on to American Riviera Orchard. Her website, The Tig, was becoming more and more well-known prior to her marriage.

“There was an outcry for her honest content and glimpses into her lifestyle when it was closed before her wedding. These websites are appealing because of their relatability—as if we shared the same breakfast recipes, we could attain the same degree of elegance or glamour.”

Meghan wrote the best-selling children’s book The Bench, started the award-winning podcast Archetypes, which has a second audio series in the works under a deal with Lemonada Media, and is currently working on multiple projects in development with Netflix since leaving her royal duties in 2020.

“American Riviera Orchard feels consistent with the Duke and Duchess of Sussexes rebranding over recent years,” Christine told HELLO!A comprehensive brand that offers an insight into their lifestyle is the ideal next step as they strive to mould their relationship with the public and their perception.

“From what we have heard and the teasers we have seen, American Riviera Orchard seems like a glimpse into their Montecito lifestyle in a perfectly posed, curated way.”

Given that Meghan’s Montecito residence is situated in Santa Barbara, which is frequently referred to as the “American Riviera,” the brand’s name appears to be another hint.

In any case, we’ll be watching Instagram for more updates!
