Meghan Markle’s touching farewell message on her blog revealed

Five years have passed since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced their engagement to the media while standing in the Sunken Garden of Kensington Palace.

But a few months earlier, the Duchess of Sussex, who shut down her blog in April 2017, wrote a heartfelt farewell letter to its readers. The sweet letter was written by the ex-actress months before they revealed their engagement, and it is still available to read on The Tig’s home page.

“To all of my Tig buddies. It’s time to say goodbye to The Tig after nearly three lovely years on this journey with you “Meghan typed. “My little engine that could, which started out as a passion project, has grown into an amazing community of inspiration, support, joy, and frivolity. You’ve brightened my days and brought so much joy to this experience.

“Continue looking for your Tig moments of discovery, laughing and taking chances, and continuing to be “the change you wish to see in the world.”

“Above all, remember your value; as I have repeatedly told you: “You, my sweet friend, you are enough.” I appreciate everything.”

With two kisses and her maiden name, the future Duchess concluded her parting message.

In 2014, Meghan started a lifestyle blog where she posted recipes, interviews with powerful women, fashion, travel, and beauty advice.

She claims that after tasting a wine by the name of Tignanello, also known as “Tig,” she was better able to comprehend what wine experts meant when they spoke of the “body, legs, and structure of wine.” This gave rise to the name of the website.

It was the epitome of a “ah-ha” moment, according to Meghan. “It turned into a “Tig” moment for me, a realization. Any new insight, discovery, or “ohhhh, I get it!” moment after that was a “Tig” moment.”

Less than two years after their nuptials, Prince Harry and Meghan formally retired from royal life in March 2020. After briefly living in Canada, the couple initially relocated to Los Angeles. They have since settled into their new life in Montecito with their children, Archie Harrison, age three, and Lilibet Diana, age one.
