It has been confirmed that King Charles has invited Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to his coronation on Saturday, May 6.
Because of their ongoing tense relationship, there was initial doubt about whether the monarch would invite his son and daughter-in-law. In an earlier this year ITV interview with Tom Bradby, Prince Harry brought up the subject.

Roya Nikkhah, the royal editor of The Sunday Times, claims that King Charles has since extended an invitation to the couple to attend his coronation.
“I can confirm The Duke has recently received email correspondence from His Majesty’s office regarding the coronation,” a spokesperson for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex said.
We won’t immediately announce whether or not The Duke and Duchess will attend, the statement continued.
The Prime Minister, heads of state, and other royals from around the world are likely to be on the guest list in addition to members of the royal family.

Where the Sussex family will stay if they choose to attend King Charles and Queen Consort Camilla’s coronation has not yet been made public. This week, it became official that Harry and Meghan had been asked by His Majesty to leave their Frogmore House residence in the UK.
According to reports, King Charles III will meet with the Prince and Princess of Wales ahead of the big event to go over Prince George’s participation in the ceremony. The future King is anticipated to play a “significant” part in his grandfather’s coronation.
The news comes shortly after Prince Harry participated in a ground-breaking interview with doctor and author Gabor Mate, during which the royal spoke candidly about his drug use, his depression, and a potential diagnosis of ADHD.

Harry said in a moving moment that he didn’t want to give his kids, Archie and Lilibet, any “traumas or negative experiences,” and that he intended to “smother them with love” in order to be different from the way he was raised.
