In honour of Prince George’s 11th birthday on Monday, the Prince and Princess of Wales proudly shared a brand-new photo of him. The future king looks so mature!
The young prince was seen in the photo, taken by his mother Catherine in Windsor earlier this month, leaning slightly forward and grinning at her from behind the lens as he sat on a stone bench.

George had a beaded bracelet on his left wrist in addition to his elegant white shirt and jacket.
Catherine has released the black and white photo of George, which is different from the pictures she shared earlier this year on Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis’ birthdays.
The message inside the caption said, “Happy 11th birthday, Prince George!”
Rather than posting the photo under press embargo on George’s special day, July 22, Prince William and Catherine decided to follow the new precedent they set for Princess Charlotte’s ninth birthday in May and Prince Louis’ sixth birthday in April.
Only one week has passed since George and his father, Prince William, travelled to Germany to watch England vs. Spain in the Euro 2024 final. Spain scored a goal in the final minute to win the trophy, causing heartache for the Three Lions who were defeated 2-1.

George enjoys sports just as much as his parents do, and he has recently accompanied them to a number of important sporting events, such as the Six Nations, Wimbledon, and the Euros. He also loves Aston Villa, just like his father William does.
