The royals showed off their dance skills at their 2018 wedding

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle look madly in love as they recreate iconic wedding photo

Throughout their tour of Colombia, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex couldn’t keep their hands off each other, but there was one particular instance when they looked even more in love as they unintentionally mimicked a private wedding moment.

During their trip to Unidad Recreativa El Vallado, where they attended hip-hop and salsa shows, Prince Harry spontaneously started dancing with his wife by grabbing her hand and spinning her around while grinning broadly.

After their dance, they shared a kiss, with Meghan snatching her husband’s face in a rare moment of passionate closeness among royal couples.

Their twirling motions and outstretched arms brought back memories of their May 2018 royal wedding reception at Frogmore House. The recentlywed pair was seen spinning around the dance floor to Wilson Pickett’s song “Land of 1,000 Dances” in their Netflix documentary series, Harry & Meghan.

Meghan remarked, “I just really wanted the music to be fun, even for our first dance. It was just spinning like a whirlwind.” It was really amazing.”

She wore her custom Aquazzurra heels with her backless, halterneck Stella McCartney second wedding dress, and her hair was pulled back in a messy bun at the time.

She wore a more carefree look for her most recent appearance, which included an ecru Juan De Dios hand-embroidered midi skirt, a white T-shirt, and flat brown Stuart Weitzman sandals. She was still dressed in bridal white. Her hair cascaded past her shoulders in gentle curls that were left loose.

Harry and Meghan’s wedding confusion

Six months after announcing their engagement at Kensington Palace, Prince Harry and Meghan were joined in marriage on May 19, 2018, at St George’s Chapel in the Windsor Castle.

As 29 million people watched the royal wedding, the couple shocked everyone by revealing that they had secretly wed three days prior in front of just themselves.

When Meghan mentioned that the Archbishop of Canterbury had performed the wedding in their Kensington Palace garden during an interview with Oprah Winfrey, Harry interrupted, saying that it was “just the three of us.”

The Archbishop later clarified the confusion by stating that the lavish, televised wedding was the official nuptials.

“I had a number of private and pastoral meetings with the Duke and Duchess before the wedding,” he told the newspaper.

“The Saturday was the official wedding day. As the wedding certificate is a legally binding document, my signature on it would have been a serious criminal offense had I known it to be false.

“So you can make what you like about, but the legal wedding was on the Saturday.”

Meghan’s wedding dress

Prior to appearing in public wearing her Stella McCartney gown, Meghan astonished audiences with her Clare Waight Keller for Givenchy wedding gown.

“True to the heritage of the house, the pure lines of the dress are achieved using six meticulously placed seams,” Kensington Palace said in a statement revealing the design details. The dress’s striking open bateau neckline, which accentuates the narrowly defined waist and elegantly frames the shoulders, is its main feature.

The dress’s lines continue to the back, where the train is cushioned by an underskirt made of triple silk organza and flows in gentle round folds. A touch of sophisticated modernity is added by the slim three-quarter sleeves.”

Later on, Meghan acknowledged Clare’s work and said she had a “very clear vision” while creating her dress. “What made working with Clare so wonderful was that, although some designers may try to steer you in a different direction, she simply respected my vision for the day and wanted to make it a reality for me.”
