Prince Harry and Meghan Markle planning new Netflix film on royal life behind Palace walls

A new full-length movie about royal life will reportedly be released on Netflix by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. According to the Mirror, Meghan and Harry thought they had a “big screen story to tell about what happened in the Palace.” The controversial “Harry & Meghan” docuseries, which was released on the streaming service in December, would be followed by the movie.

The couple reportedly wants to “wait and see” how people will respond to a Netflix original movie about Prince Andrew’s infamous Newsnight interview.

In February of this year, Netflix started shooting the show “Scoop,” in which Gillian Anderson plays journalist Emily Maitlis and Rufus Sewell plays the Duke of York.

Harry and Meghan are “keen” to continue working with Netflix, but they want to add more “juicy stuff” about their lives as royals, the source claimed.

“There are a lot of nuances from their story that they feel are still missing after the documentary and Harry’s book,” they continued.

According to the source, “There is no question they would get a handsome payday for it, which is extremely alluring. Harry wants to proceed more cautiously, but they are both entertaining the idea, and their team is discussing the amount of money they would demand for the rights to their story. Meghan is really pushing for it to happen.

Before they retired in March 2020 and moved to California, the couple is candidly interviewed in the docuseries as they reflect on their time as senior working royals.

The Duke and Duchess reportedly signed a lucrative contract with Netflix after they left, potentially worth $100 million.

Following claims by Harry, Meghan, and her mother Doria Ragland that they were engaged in a “near catastrophic car chase through Manhattan for over two hours last week, this has happened.

They claimed in a statement that photographers followed them as they left a charity event on Tuesday, where they sought safety at a police station before being driven away in a yellow taxi.

Paparazzi were criticized as “reckless and irresponsible” by New York City Mayor Eric Adams.

The cabbie acknowledged that the paparazzi were “following us the whole time,” but claimed that it was only for a brief period of time and that nobody was hurt.

The couple’s office issued a statement that read, “While being a public figure comes with a level of interest from the public, it should never come at the cost of anyone’s safety.”

On Tuesday, Prince Harry was unsuccessful in his legal battle with the Home Office over the latter’s opposition to letting him pay for police protection while in the country.

Harry was denied permission by High Court judge Mr. Justice Chamberlain to request a judicial review of the judgment.
