Kate remains in hospital after undergoing surgery this past week in London

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle ‘sent best wishes’ to King Charles and Princess Kate amid health scares

Following their disclosure of health issues this past week, Prince Harry and his spouse, Meghan, are said to have sent their “best wishes” to his father, King Charles, and sister-in-law, Princess Kate.

They were hired “in different ways to pass on their concern and best wishes,” according to reports that the couple, who now reside in Santa Barbara, California, contacted “the King and the Princess of Wales” to express their family’s support.

The 42-year-old Princess of Wales is still hospitalised following a successful abdominal surgery, according to Kensington Palace.

The palace released the following statement: “Her Royal Highness Yesterday, The London Clinic admitted The Princess of Wales for her scheduled abdominal surgery. After a successful surgery, she should stay in the hospital for ten to fourteen days before going home to continue her recuperation. She probably won’t be able to resume her public duties until after Easter, according to the latest medical advice.

“The Princess of Wales is grateful for the attention that her remarks will bring. She hopes that the general public will respect her wish to keep her children’s lives as normal as possible and to keep her private medical records. Therefore, updates on Her Royal Highness’s progress will only be given by Kensington Palace when there is noteworthy new information to disseminate.

“The Princess of Wales would like to express her regret to everyone involved for having to reschedule her planned events. She is eager to get as many back as she can, as quickly as she can.”

It is acknowledged that Prince William has rescheduled his diary in order to support his wife and their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, and that Kate’s illness is not cancerous.

A few hours later, King Charles’ hospital stay for treatment of an enlarged prostate was confirmed by Buckingham Palace. Charles will undergo a corrective procedure, according to the Palace, which stated that his condition was benign.

“His Majesty’s condition is benign and he will attend hospital next week for a corrective procedure,” the palace said in a statement. The King will take a brief break from public appearances to rest.”

According to public health advice, the 75-year-old King was eager to share the specifics of his diagnosis in order to inspire other men who might be having similar symptoms to seek medical attention. The NHS website in the UK states: “The medical term for an enlarged prostate, a condition that can affect how you pee (urinate), is benign prostate enlargement (BPE). BPE is prevalent in men over 50. It’s not cancerous, and it typically poses little risk to one’s health.”

Since Harry and Meghan announced they would be leaving the royal family in March 2020, their relationship with their father, Charles, has become strained. But in the past 12 months, it has reportedly become even more strained as a result of Harry’s memoir Spare, which is said to have only made the distance between father and son wider.

But this week, Robert Hardman, a royal author, released a new book titled Charles III New King. New Court. According to The Inside Story, the 75-year-old King would “definitely” like to make amends with Harry, but some things are still “non-negotiable.” This was revealed on HELLO!’s A Right Royal Podcast.

Regarding Harry and Kate’s relationship, after more than ten years of what seemed to be a close friendship between the brother- and sister-in-law, royal watchers have been horrified to read the stories Harry has alleged in recent years.

Many people thought that in his book Spare, he unfairly blamed Kate for cultural differences between the United States and England as well as Kate and Meghan’s approaches to friendship.
