The Montecito mansion that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle share with their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, is picture-perfect in every way. The Sussexes have a lovely outdoor pool, a stunning wine cellar, and a sizable flower-filled garden.
Many areas of the house, also known as the Chateau of Riven Rock, were highlighted in their Netflix docuseries, Harry & Meghan, including the enormous kitchen and Lilibet’s exquisite nursery. A special camera angle also revealed what the royal couple sees when they welcome guests at their front door. And the views will absolutely astound you.
Ashleigh, Meghan’s niece, was greeted by Archie and Meghan when she arrived at the family home as seen in the video. The mesmerizing views and a car could both be seen behind Ashleigh. The couple enjoys lovely gardens with well-kept hedges and towering trees that provide plenty of shade.
Two substantial wooden doors hang in the arched doorway, and a lantern light is suspended from the porch of one of the doors. Two black-framed works of art hang on the wall in their white-painted, light and airy hall, and there is also an air conditioning control panel.
The Sussexes’ driveway was fully displayed in the documentary when Prince Harry, his cousin Princess Eugenie, and Archie rode bikes alongside them.
Meghan revealed in an interview with The Cut that she and Harry fell in love with the property right away. Meghan told The Cut, “We did everything we could to get this house. “Because you enter and leave… Joy. then let out a breath. also peace. It’s therapeutic. You sense freedom.
With regard to how the couple acquired the mansion, Harry mentioned it in his book Spare, writing: “So we pulled together a down-payment, took out a mortgage, and in July 2020 we moved in.”
