The Duke and Duchess of Sussex live in Montecito with their three adored dogs, Guy the beagle, Pula the Labrador, and Mamma Mia, a second beagle they adopted last year, as well as a group of rescue chickens.
Archie, the oldest child of Prince Harry and Meghan, seems to share his parents’ love of animals, as evidenced by their Netflix documentary about their dogs.

Archie is seen confidently walking the beagle as he follows his baby sister, Lilibet, on Harry’s shoulders, and Meghan into the stables while donning a hoodie, light blue jeans, and wellies.
Following her engagement to Harry, Meghan moved to the UK in 2017, but was only able to bring Guy, one of her rescue dogs, as Bogart was too old to travel across the Atlantic.

Meghan’s love of animals reportedly helped her connect with King Charles and Queen Consort Camilla on their first meeting, according to Harry’s autobiography Spare.
Harry noted that Meg had mentioned her two rescue animals, who she referred to as her “fur babies.” Guy told a particularly depressing tale. Meg discovered him at a kill shelter in Kentucky after someone had left him in the wilderness without any food or water. She noted that Kentucky was the state where the most beagles were euthanized, and when she saw Guy on the shelter’s website, she instantly fell in love.

“I observed Camilla’s face grow dimmer. She supported Battersea Dogs & Cats Home, so stories like these always affected her deeply. Pa too. He could not bear to consider any animal in pain.
