According to a recent article from The Sunday Times, Prince Harry turned down King Charles’ invitation to spend this week in a royal home.
The Duke of Sussex chose to stay in a hotel, according to Royal Editor Roya Nikkhah. The Duke was back in the UK for a Service of Thanksgiving at St. Paul’s Cathedral commemorating the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games.

Pictured at the highly anticipated event on Wednesday in London, Prince Harry had the support of a thousand guests during the service. However, his father, King Charles’s family, was not present.
As stated in the most recent episode of A Right Royal Podcast, which features hosts Andrea Caamano and Emmy Griffiths along with Emily Nash, the royal editor of HELLO!, it was initially believed that Prince Harry had extended an invitation to his father, Charles, and brother, Prince William, to attend the service.
The latest information, however, indicates that Prince Harry had neither asked for nor made plans to see his father this week, nor had the two ever been offered tickets in the first place.

Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle have reunited after the royal’s quick trip to the UK, and the two of them are starting a three-day trip to Nigeria. The couple made the decision to leave their two young children at home in Montecito, California: Princess Lilibet, who turns three in June, and Prince Archie, who just celebrated his fifth birthday.
Christopher Musa, the Chief of Defense Staff, greeted Harry and Meghan when they arrived in the African country on Friday. Their packed schedule also included a training session for Nigeria: Unconquered, a charitable organization, and a visit to Lightway Academy in Abuja.

Meghan was honored to co-host a Women in Leadership event on Saturday alongside World Trade Organization director-general Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala.
On Sunday, the final day of their trip, Megan and Harry are scheduled to participate in a polo fundraiser for Nigeria, a cultural reception, and a basketball camp run by Giants of Africa: Not defeated.

It’s ironic that this three-day journey is Meghan and Harry’s first joint trip to Nigeria. Both Meghan and the Nigerian team have a special place in the nation; during the Invictus Games last year, Meghan even received her own Nigerian name, Amira Ngozi Lolo.
“Ngozi” means “blessed,” “Lolo” represents a royal wife, and “Amira” translates as warrior princess from a legend.

“She has the sentimental attachment to Nigeria, so it dawned on us as a team to say why don’t we just give Meghan a name,” Nigerian team captain Bobby Ojeh told HELLO! in a previous interview. She is simply amazing; she is truly wonderful. We, as Nigerians, were deeply touched by the way she accepted her Nigerian roots, and this is the lesson we carry with us when we return home.”
