The Duke of Sussex met with King Charles at Clarence House on Tuesday

Prince Harry has ’emotional’ reunion with King Charles

The Duke of Sussex was seen on Wednesday at London’s Heathrow Airport after a quick get-together with his father, King Charles, who was recently diagnosed with cancer.

Less than twenty-four hours after Buckingham Palace announced the King’s health, Prince Harry rushed to the UK on Monday.

The 39-year-old father of two was then seen traveling to London’s Clarence House, where he spent about 45 minutes talking with his father before the King took off for Sandringham by helicopter.

The 42-year-old Duchess of Sussex and her young children, Prince Archie, 4, and Princess Lilibet, 2, continued to live in Montecito, California, in the meantime.

Harry quickly left the Westminster Abbey ceremony to return to the US in time for Archie’s fourth birthday, having attended the King’s coronation in May of last year.

This month, the Sussexes will also visit Canada for the One Year to Go celebrations of the Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025.

HELLO! understands that Harry and Meghan will be attending the Participating Nations Winter Training Camp, which offers the International Invictus Community—including team managers, coaches, and competitors—a chance to experience winter adaptive sports in advance of the Games in 2019. The camp will take place over three days in Vancouver and Whistler.

The Duke’s housing arrangement during his stay in the UK remained undisclosed. 2020 saw Harry and Meghan relinquish their royal responsibilities in order to relocate to the US permanently. In June of last year, Frogmore Cottage, the Sussexes’ official UK residence, was confirmed to have been abandoned by Buckingham Palace.

Harry may have stayed at Windsor Castle during his most recent trip to the UK in September 2023 for the WellChild Awards, although other reports claimed he had checked into a hotel.

In the midst of his wife Kate’s recuperation from abdominal surgery and the King’s cancer diagnosis, the Prince of Wales returned to public life on Wednesday. However, it’s known that Prince William will not be spending his short stay with his brother Harry.

Harry’s candid memoir, Spare, which was released in January 2023, describes his strained relationship with his father and elder brother in recent years.

The Sussexes also published a Netflix documentary series in 2022 that described their time as members of the royal family as well as their subsequent relocation to the US.

However, Harry acknowledged in an interview with Oprah Winfrey in March 2021 that “I will always love him.” Numerous injuries have occurred. I’m going to keep putting that relationship’s healing first.”
