Prince Harry overcome with emotion following emotional procession

Following the tearful procession for his grandmother, the Queen, as the vigil at Westminster Hall, Prince Harry was overcome with emotion. The Duke of Sussex, who accompanied his brother Prince William and other members of the immediate family as they followed the coffin down Pall Mall, was seen wiping his eyes as the coffin was brought into the hall.

Harry looked visibly emotional

The emotional reunion between the Prince and his wife, Meghan, who traveled to Westminster Church in a car with the Countess of Wessex and Princess Kate and Queen Camilla in another car, did not happen until the Prince was wearing a suit adorned with numerous medals. As the couple left the Hall, Meghan was seen supporting her husband by holding hands with him.

The Duchess chose a chic ebony coat dress and a pillbox hat in midnight black with a delicate netted veil to complete her look. Her pearl earrings added the perfect finishing touch. The practice of using pearls as “mourning jewelry” dates back to Queen Victoria’s reign.

The event was extremely emotional for Her Majesty’s children and grandchildren, and Princess Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank were both visibly moved as they observed the proceedings. Princess Beatrice, her older sister, was visibly emotional as well. She was seen watching the service with her husband Edoardo, holding her hand to her mouth.

Since the Queen’s death was announced by Buckingham Palace on Thursday, September 8, the majority of the royal family had not been seen together until the historic occasion. The monarch, who was 96 years old, passed away “peacefully” at Balmoral, and her funeral will be held on Monday.
