Prince Harry Wants ‘Revenge’ for How Princess Diana Was Treated By the Royal Family, Expert Speculates

Princess Diana shocked the world in the 1990s when she spoke out about her struggles in the royal family. She talked about how other royals looked down on her and neglected her.

Diana’s death in 1997 had an impact on her sons, particularly Prince Harry. Some of Harry’s recent actions, according to a royal expert, are his way of seeking “vengeance” for what happened to Diana.

Prince Harry has made disparaging remarks about the royal family.

Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, stepped down as senior royals in 2020. The couple claimed they were looking for privacy and financial independence at the time.

Despite this, Harry and Meghan have been speaking to the press about their grievances with the royal family. For example, the couple had an explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey earlier this year. They revealed that their family had been subjected to racism by another royal and that Harry’s father had cut off their financial support.

Following that, Harry appeared on the podcast Armchair Expert with Dax Shepard to discuss the negative aspects of his royal upbringing.

He also collaborated with Oprah on the Apple TV+ docu-series The Me You Can’t See, in which he discussed how his mother’s death affected his mental health.

Harry recently announced that he will publish a memoir in 2022. Many observers believe the memoir will include more complaints about the royal family.

Because royals are known for keeping their personal lives private, some have questioned why Harry is giving interviews and writing a book about his life. According to a royal expert, he is seeking “vengeance.”

On the Daily Mail’s series Palace Confidential, journalist Richard Eden stated, “Let’s be clear, his main motivation is revenge.” “This week, I heard from someone—a very senior old friend of Prince Charles—who claimed that Prince Harry has always been enraged by the royal family’s treatment of his mother. And he’s grown increasingly enraged over the royal family’s treatment of him and, in particular, Meghan.”

“This is revenge, essentially,” Eden said of Harry’s memoir. It’s just a matter of how bad it’ll be [for the royal family].”

Will Princess Diana be mentioned in Prince Harry’s upcoming memoir?

Harry’s memoir will include his childhood, according to Harry and Meghan’s charity, Archwell. However, it’s unclear how much Harry will speak about Diana.

According to royal author Angela Levin, Harry will speak extensively about Diana, particularly her death. “I’ve been told by a well-informed source that Harry’s memoir will focus heavily on the death of his mother Princess Diana, and who he blames,” Levin wrote on Twitter.

Katie Nicholl, another royal author, believes Harry will reveal many details about his childhood that he has never revealed before.

“I believe there are numerous unanswered questions. She told ET, “I believe there are still many aspects of his life, particularly his younger life, that have yet to be explored.” “And he’s promised us an autobiography with no holds barred, a memoir in which he can be completely honest about his life.”
