The final show of Sir Elton John’s UK tour will be a spectacular performance at Glastonbury on Sunday night.
As part of his Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour, the celebrity performed his final US concert at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles last November, where he was given a particularly warm royal welcome.

While Mick Jagger and Paul McCartney were present, Prince Harry sent the performer a touching video message on the occasion.
The concert was broadcast live around the world, and it featured a video from Harry in which he paid homage to Elton. The star received sweet praise from the monarch for “entertaining everyone for so many decades” and for “being the friend that you were to my mother.”
The singer and the late Princess Diana were well-known to be close friends, and at her funeral in 1997, he sang a special rendition of his song Candle in the Wind.

Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, have also received support from Elton, even after they decided to stop serving as working members of the royal family in early 2020.
In 2019, after the couple visited Elton and his husband David Furnish’s home in France, he defended the pair. He also shared visual tributes to the couple at his California concert.
Elton wrote: “I am deeply distressed by today’s distorted and malicious account in the press surrounding the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s private stay at my home in Nice last week.” on Twitter.

He continued, “Diana, Princess of Wales, was one of my closest friends. She is the mother of Prince Harry. I have a strong moral obligation to shield Harry and his family from the unwarranted press encroachment that led to Diana’s premature passing.
“David and I wanted the young family to have a private holiday inside the safety and tranquility of our home after a busy year of continuing their hard work and devotion to charity. We gave them a private jet flight so that we could continue to provide the necessary high level of protection.

“We made the necessary contribution to Carbon Footprint to ensure their flight was carbon neutral to support Prince Harry’s commitment to the environment.”
The Crocodile Rock hitmaker also sang four songs for the appreciative crowd at Harry and Meghan’s wedding reception in 2018.

It was enjoyable, Elton admitted in a statement to The Sun. They made a wonderful audience, so I sang another song for them. I did four instead of the three I had planned. Can You Feel The Love Tonight is an addition I made.
Fans of Elton John will undoubtedly be anticipating his Sunday performances at the biggest live music festival in the UK. Speaking prior to the event, the celebrity claimed that his headline performance at Glastonbury’s Pyramid stage in front of an anticipated 100,000 spectators “couldn’t be a more perfect ending.”

Britney Spears is rumored to be one of the “four collaborators” who will accompany David’s husband onstage, though this has not yet been confirmed.
