In the trial being held against Mirror Group Newspapers (MGN) over alleged illegal information gathering, including phone hacking, the Prince and other prominent figures are expected to call Prince Harry back to London the following week as a witness.
Since Harry’s aunt, Princess Anne, no member of the royal family has given a courtroom testimony for more than 20 years.

A charge under the Dangerous Dogs Act required the Princess Royal to appear in court back in 2002 after her pet English Bull Terrier, Dotty, bit two children in Windsor Great Park. She entered a plea of guilty and was sentenced to probation.
In addition to being fined £500 for the assault, Anne was also required to pay £148 in costs, £250 in compensation, and training for Dotty.

Four representative claimants have had their cases chosen for the trial, including Harry. The other three are comedian Paul Whitehouse’s ex-wife Fiona Wightman, actors Michael Turner and Nikki Sanderson from Coronation Street, and them.
The two-time father is anticipated to show up on Monday and testify the following day. After his youngest child, Princess Lilibet, turns two on Sunday, June 4, he will travel.
He last visited the nation on May 6 for the coronation of King Charles and Queen Camilla, though he left right away and skipped any associated festivities or the concert, possibly in part because the occasion fell on his son Archie’s fourth birthday.

Harry is unlikely to have the opportunity to see his father again because the monarch is scheduled to travel to Transylvania and will be staying in the isolated, rustic farmhouse he purchased in the hamlet of Viscri in 2006.
He will have the chance to meet with the nation’s president, Klaus Iohannis, while he is there, where he is anticipated to stay for at least a week.
