As the Prince and Princess of Wales arrived at the 2023 BAFTAs, all eyes were on the red carpet in front of the Royal Festival Hall.
After spending the February half-term holiday with their kids, William and Catherine made a very glamorous return to their royal duties when they reportedly took Prince George and Princess Charlotte on a low-key visit to the set of the Amazon Prime series Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power.
Before meeting category winners and EE Rising Star Award nominees, the couple will watch the awards presentation.
For this year’s awards, Paul Mescal, Colin Farrell, Cate Blanchett, and Daryl McCormack are among the nominees.
Catherine first attended the star-studded event with the Prince in 2017, who has been the President of BAFTA since 2010.
When the Prince and Princess of Wales arrived at the BAFTAs, they made quite the entrance on the red carpet. Catherine looked stunning in a reworked Alexander McQueen one-shoulder gown and statement black opera gloves, while William looked dapper in a black velvet tuxedo.
The Grecian-inspired dress with floral shoulder embellishment was the Princess’s first appearance in it at the 2019 BAFTAs.

The couple chatted and laughed with one another as they made their way down the red carpet.
Catherine decided on a shimmering smokey-eye makeup look and a pair of £17.99 floral and rhinestone earrings from high-end retailer Zara. Sadly, the attention-grabbing accessories are already gone!
Having to cancel the party at the last minute in 2021 due to the death of his grandfather, the Duke of Edinburgh, William and Catherine attended the BAFTAs for the first time on Sunday since 2020. Due to “diary constraints,” the couple was unable to attend in person last year, so only William attended in a virtual setting.
The couple spoke with Jane Millichip, CEO of BAFTA, and Anna Higgs, Chair of the Film Committee, BAFTA.
At the Royal Festival Hall on London’s South Bank, the couple took a seat in the front row.
