As he deals with the devastating news of Catherine’s cancer diagnosis, Prince William is reportedly in desperate need of his younger brother Prince Harry’s assistance.
The future king is under tremendous pressure to protect their three small children, Prince George, who is ten, Princess Charlotte, who is eight, and Prince Louis, who is five, while supporting his wife during her recuperation.

William ‘desperately needs’ Harry, according to a royal expert, but it’s clear that their relationship is still strained—a terse 22-word statement suggests that it will take some time for them to mend.
According to the Mirror, TalkTV’s royal editor Sarah Hewson predicts that the siblings’ animosity won’t go away anytime soon because William is now devoted to keeping his family safe.
It’s thought that Catherine’s diagnosis was unknown to Harry and Meghan, who have made their home in Montecito, California, until she courageously broke the news to the country in a video message on Friday, March 22, revealing that she is starting preventative chemotherapy.
Catherine, 42, disclosed that she and her husband William, 41, have been handling things quietly for their children, and she said that William has been a huge support and comfort.
“We wish health and healing for Kate and the family, and hope they are able to do so privately and in peace,” Harry and Meghan said in a statement.

Ms. Hewson revealed on Times Radio that she believes Harry and Meghan have had private conversations with Catherine.
But it will be difficult to mend their friendship after Harry made fun of Catherine in his autobiographical novel Spare and in his Netflix documentary with Meghan.
Ms Hewson additionally stated: “You can only think how desperately William would need his brother right now as a support and that relationship just isn’t there.”
For the tenth anniversary of the Invictus Games, Harry is rumoured to be returning to the UK in May. Royal fans are curious if this presents an opportunity for the estranged brothers to reconcile.
However, royal author Tom Quinn stated to the Mirror that William and Harry’s meeting will most likely be brief.
“Harry will definitely make an effort to see his brother and Catherine when he returns to the UK in May, given Catherine’s cancer diagnosis,” the statement reads. “If it happens at all, it will be a very brief, carefully planned meeting and organised to last a short time so that the brothers can avoid any difficult conversations.”

Harry is aware of how it will appear, though, if he returns to the UK without seeing Catherine and his brother. It will be an extremely uncomfortable moment.”
The announcement follows a trying period for the royal family, as this year has seen both King Charles and the Duchess of York, Sarah Ferguson, battle cancer.
