During her recent hospital stay, the Princess of Wales received remarkable care from two “amazing and kind” Filipino nurses, as Prince William revealed in a heartfelt revelation to an MBE recipient.
With the King undergoing cancer treatment and Kate recovering from abdominal surgery, the royal family is going through a difficult time. However, William has remained strong and has taken on public roles and engagements.

Patricia Spruce was one of the recipients, receiving an MBE in recognition of her vital role in helping the NHS hire foreign doctors.
Patricia later posted a moving exchange she had with William regarding Kate’s hospital care on LinkedIn, highlighting his sincere appreciation for the Filipino nurses’ extraordinary attention to detail and compassion for the Princess.
During the ceremony, Ellen White, another distinguished MBE recipient, wished Kate and the King the very best.
According to White’s account, William’s reply was one of sincere gratitude, expressing the royal family’s thanks for the public’s support during these difficult times.
William and White had a nice conversation that was captured by Jeremy Freeman’s lipreading insight. William said, “Well, it was lovely to see you again,” and White answered, “Thank you, please wish your Dad well.”
The Prince made a fleeting mention of his father’s and wife’s medical conditions during a brief but moving speech at London’s Air Ambulance Charity Gala Dinner, two days after the public learned of the monarch’s cancer diagnosis.
“Good evening, everyone,” he said. I appreciate everyone being here. I also want to thank everyone whose efforts have made this evening possible.
I would also like to take this opportunity to thank you for the kind messages of support that you have sent to my father and Catherine, especially in the last few days. It is very important to all of us.
William’s final sighting to the public occurred on January 18, following his visit with Kate, outside The London Clinic.
Since then, the Princess has made her way back to Adelaide Cottage in Windsor, where she intends to concentrate on her recuperation while avoiding the spotlight until at least Easter.
