The hospital where Princess Catherine has been recovering from surgery has been visited by the Prince of Wales.
Around 12:35 p.m. on Thursday, Prince William, 41, was spotted leaving the exclusive London Clinic.
Kensington Palace disclosed on Wednesday that the Princess of Wales is receiving medical attention in a hospital following a successful procedure on her abdomen.

Before going home to continue her recuperation, the future Queen is anticipated to stay in the hospital for ten to fourteen days.
According to the Palace, Catherine, 42, is not expected to return to public duties until after Easter based on current medical advice and is expected to recover for two to three months.
While his wife is in the hospital and in the initial days after her return home, Prince William will not be performing any official duties.
The heir apparent has already canceled several engagements in order to be by Catherine’s side while raising Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
Although the Palace verified Catherine’s ailment was not cancerous, they would not say what she was being treated for. The palace released the following statement: “Her Royal Highness Yesterday, The London Clinic admitted The Princess of Wales for her scheduled abdominal surgery.

“The procedure went well, and she should stay in the hospital for ten to fourteen days before going home to continue her recuperation. She probably won’t be able to resume her public duties until after Easter, according to the latest medical advice.
“The Princess of Wales is grateful for the attention that her remarks will bring. She hopes that the general public will respect her wish to keep her children’s lives as normal as possible and to keep her private medical records.
As a result, Kensington Palace will only provide updates on Her Royal Highness’s status when there is noteworthy new information to disseminate.
“The Princess of Wales regrets having to cancel her forthcoming engagements and extends her condolences to everyone involved. She is eager to get as many back as she can, as quickly as she can.”

Former royal patients of the London Clinic include the late Duke of Edinburgh, who was brought in for “abdominal investigations” in 2013.
In 1980, the clinic performed surgery on the late Princess Margaret in order to remove a benign skin lesion.
