Prince William and Catherine have arrived in Boston! For a three-day visit as part of William’s Earthshot Prize initiative, which will take place later this week, the Prince and Princess of Wales arrived in the New England city earlier this afternoon.
As she arrived at Boston’s Logan International Airport, Catherine wore a dark pantsuit from her go-to designer, Alexander McQueen, and looked chic. She accessorized her ensemble with a pair of diamond and sapphire drop earrings that were once owned by her late mother-in-law Princess Diana. She paired the polished look with a black turtleneck and suede pumps. William, on the other hand, looked sharp in a dark suit over a white button-down and a tie with a blue pattern.
The Prince and Princess of Wales immediately posted on social media about how “delighted” they were to be back in America. (They last visited this location in 2014.) “I would like to thank the people of Massachusetts, and in particular the people of Boston, for their numerous tributes paid to the late Queen on this, our first international trip since the passing of my grandmother. She cherished the memories of her bicentennial trip in 1976 “Prince of Wales kept talking. “My grandmother was one of life’s optimists. And so am I. Because of this, we started the Earthshot Prize last year with the goal of building a truly global platform that would encourage urgent optimism and hope as we work to save the planet’s future.”
He then concluded: “To the people of Boston, thank you. I’m so grateful to you for allowing us to host the second year of the Earthshot prize in your great city. Catherine and I can’t wait to meet many of you in the days ahead.”
