Princess Eugenie welcomes second child with Jack Brooksbank

Princess Eugenie welcomed her second child and shared the news of his birth on Instagram.

The happy mother uploaded two pictures of Ernest sleeping in a Moses basket, one of which featured her oldest son August gently patting the infant on the head.

The message’s caption stated: “Jack and I wanted to share the news that on May 30, 2023, at 8.49 a.m., we gave birth to our son, Ernest George Ronnie Brooksbank, who weighed 7.1 pounds.

“He is named after his great great great Grandfather George, his Grandpa George and my Grandpa Ronald. Augie is loving being a big brother already.”

The Duke of Edinburgh, Eugenie’s uncle, will now be in the 14th position, and his children, the Earl of Wessex and Lady Louise Windsor, will now be in the 15th and 16th positions, respectively.

Eugenie’s aunt, the Princess Royal, who was third in line when she was born in 1950, will move up to 17th place in line to the throne as well.

Does Princess Eugenie’s second baby have a royal title?

The second child of Eugenie and Jack is not a member of the royal family because children inherit their position from their father. Simply put, he is Master Brooksbank.

As well as big brother, August, and grandparents, Prince Andrew and Sarah, and Jack’s mother, Nicola Brooksbank, the new baby also has one-year-old cousin, Sienna, who is Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi’s daughter.

Where do Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank live?

Ivy Cottage at Kensington Palace in London serves as Eugenie and Jack’s primary residence, and Beatrice, Eugenie’s sister, resides close by at St. James’s Palace.

Due to Jack’s work commitments, the couple split their time between the UK and Portugal. He is collaborating with real estate tycoon Mike Meldman, who is in charge of overseeing the construction of 300 homes at the CostaTerra Golf and Ocean Club.

Although the duration of Jack’s project is unknown, with so much to see and do, Portugal is undoubtedly the ideal destination for kids.

Prince Andrew and his ex-wife Sarah are the baby’s maternal grandparents, and they live at Royal Lodge in Windsor.
