The Princess of Wales on Sunday wore the cutest blushing look as she posed with Princess Iman bint Abdullah, the elder daughter of Queen Rania and King Abdullah II.
The Prince and Princess of Wales arrived at the gardens at Zahran Palace in all their usual opulence for the eagerly awaited wedding, which was broadcast live via Jordan TV News. All eyes were on Princess Catherine’s exquisite jewelry choices as she dazzled in her blossom pink Elie Saab dress.
Princess Catherine enhanced her outfit, which was taken from the Autumn/Winter 2017 ready-to-wear collection by the Lebanese fashion designer, with jewels that once belonged to the late Queen Elizabeth II.
The mother-of-three wore the Queen’s “Greville Chandelier Earrings,” according to the Instagram account @britishroyaljewels.
The decadent pieces, which date back to 1918 when Mrs. Ronald Greville ordered a pair of drop earrings from Cartier, have undergone numerous alterations. To lengthen the earrings, Cartier added six marquise and six baton brilliants in September 1922. They underwent one last change in 1929, when 10 “assorted” diamonds were added to create the final version.
The pear-shaped jewelry was one of the items Mrs. Greville left to The Queen Mother in 1942. The earrings were given to Princess Elizabeth by King George VI and Queen Elizabeth in 1947 as a wedding gift; today, Princess Catherine also adores them.
In the gardens of Zahran Palace in Amman, Jordan, Crown Prince Hussein and Rajwa Al Saif were wed in the traditional Islamic “katb ktab” ceremony. The wedding had about 140 guests, including members of the Royal Hashemite family and heads of state from other countries.
Rajwa Al Saif opted for a surprisingly modern look in her own Elie Saab gown, while Princess Catherine stuck to tradition.
The First Lady Jill Biden, Queen Maxima, and Princess Catharina were among the other guests who joined the Prince and Princess of Wales. Of course, it was a feast for the eyes.
In an ultra-chic, figure-hugging gown with an asymmetrical neckline, flattering ruching across the bodice, and a fitted column skirt, the newly styled princess of Jordan looked amazing. A long, elegant train with delicate embellishments was attached to the lower back, giving the dress the look of a modern princess.
Princess Beatrice and her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi surprised fans by showing up at the royal wedding. The British royal arrived at the St. Regis hotel looking stunning in Needle & Thread’s “Celia Gown,” putting on a true Cinderella moment for the occasion.
The dress, which costs £450 online right now (down from £675), has long embellished sleeves, sheer panels, ruffle-trimmed hems, and tiers of crystal blue ruffle tulle. Princess Catherine is a fan of the attention-grabbing dress and has one of her own in brilliant red.
