The allegations about the Prince and Princess of Wales are made in the book Gilded Youth

Princess Kate’s ‘fertility was tested’ before marriage to Prince William – new book claims

Princess Catherine and Prince William’s wedding in 2011 was a lavish event and a first for the royal family because William chose a bride who wasn’t from aristocracy or royalty.

A startling revelation regarding the circumstances surrounding the couple’s marriage has just been made in a new book. According to author Tom Quinn’s book Gilded Youth: An Intimate History of Growing Up in the Royal Family, William and Catherine’s royal wedding was probably permitted because the “usual precautions” had been taken.

Regarding the aforementioned safety measures, Tom notes: “These are always performed to guarantee that a future queen is able to procreate. There is little doubt that the marriage would not have worked out if Catherine hadn’t been fertile.”

The author makes reference to the 1981 nuptials of Lady Diana Spencer and then-Prince Charles, implying that Diana underwent the same medical examinations before her union with Charles.

He clarifies: “In a brief encounter with the current author, Diana complained that she had mistakenly believed her premarital check-ups had to do with general health and had discovered later that she had actually been tested for fertility. I just went along with everything at that point because I was so innocent, she said.”

Princess Catherine “must have known precisely what was going on, but she is not, and she has never been a rebel,” the author argues.

It’s unbelievable to consider that Catherine might not have married Prince William if these allegations are accurate and she had been discovered to have fertility issues.

The nuptials of William and Catherine are still referred to as the royal nuptials of the century.

In her stunning Alexander McQueen wedding dress, which had long, lace sleeves, a lovely V-neckline with a sweetheart bodice underneath, and a full skirt, Catherine looked absolutely stunning. She arrived at Westminster Abbey on the red carpet and made her way to her future husband; it was a memorable moment.

The royal couple is currently the next-in-line to the throne and has three adorable children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. Many royal fans are speculating whether they will have a fourth child.
