Undoubtedly, the Princess of Wales is delighted to be back home, where she will have her loved ones by her side as she continues to heal from her surgery.
The Middleton family is celebrating a very special week as Wednesday marks the 69th birthday of Princess Kate’s mother, Carole Middleton. The Princess’s parents will probably join her at her Windsor home, where they will celebrate the momentous birthday in private.

Following a brief hiatus from public life, Kate, 42, will be spending more time at home with Prince William and their three children, Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 8, and Prince Louis, 5.
The royal underwent major abdominal surgery, and on Monday Kensington Palace announced that she was discharged from the hospital and back at home, nearly two weeks later. On January 16, she was admitted to the London Clinic, a private medical facility where King Charles received treatment for an enlarged prostate, in preparation for an upcoming procedure.
The Prince of Wales, the future Queen’s spouse, has temporarily resigned from his royal position in order to balance raising her and their children. The future Queen is not anticipated to resume official duties until after Easter.

“The Princess of Wales has returned home to Windsor to continue her recovery from surgery,” a representative for Kensington Palace stated. She is progressing well.
“The entire team at The London Clinic, especially the committed nursing staff, has our sincere gratitude for the care that they have given, the Prince and Princess say. The Wales family is still appreciative of all the good vibes they have been showered with worldwide.”
It’s understood that George, Charlotte, and Louis have been spending time with their maternal grandparents Carole and Michael Middleton at their home in Bucklebury, Berkshire, during their mother’s hospital stay, in addition to being looked after by their father William and their nanny, Maria Teresa Turrion Borrallo.

It is believed that the Middleton family also paid Kate a visit while she was in the hospital. There’s no doubt that Carole’s festivities will be modest this year. In the past, Carole’s birthday has been celebrated by William and Kate traveling with the Middletons to the Caribbean island of Mustique. In 2019, Pippa celebrated her mother’s 64th birthday with a party at her Chelsea residence.
