Princess Kate and Prince William's son Prince George couldn't hide his allergies

Princess Kate’s private words to sneezing Prince George during Trooping

During the royal family’s Saturday appearance at Trooping the Colour 2023, The Princess of Wales sent Prince George a private message.

Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, children of Princess Catherine and Prince William, were well-behaved as they were driven in carriages to Buckingham Palace and later joined King Charles and Queen Camilla on the balcony to watch the fly-past.

Catherine’s kids couldn’t help but draw attention, aside from her youngest son’s cheeky facial expressions, which have become recognizable over time. George must be disappointed because his sneeze was recorded on film.

Louis and Charlotte turned to look at him when they saw him sneezing while raising his hands to his mouth. His mother Catherine could be seen sitting across from him in the carriage, kindly saying, “Bless you.”

Catherine probably felt for George because she has hay fever. Throughout the spring and summer, the Princess has been photographed sneezing and having red eyes, including while riding in a carriage at Royal Ascot, standing on the balcony at Buckingham Palace, and attending The Chelsea Flower Show.

George and Louis dressed alike in navy suits and red ties for their most recent outing, while the youngest member of Catherine and William chose red shorts and socks. Charlotte had charming wide lapels on her red and white dress.

The Princess of Wales and Queen Camilla both attended the event for the first time while serving in the military. Catherine, who is The Irish Guards Colonel, carefully picked out a green dress by Andrew Gn and accessorized it with a wide-brim Philip Treacy hat.

Since Camilla is a Colonel in the Grenadier Guards, she wore a dress that was symbolic of the uniform—a red silk coat. The ‘The Grenade Fired Proper’ embroidered in gold bullion on the collar and the gold bullion back slashes were prominent elements of her dress that echoed the uniform.

The children of William and Catherine have recently made a number of royal appearances, including at the King Charles’ coronation in May 2023 and the Platinum Jubilee festivities last year.
