As the Princess of Wales, the newly styled Kate Middleton recently attended her first-ever State Banquet, and of course, she went all out for the event.
The royal wore Princess Diana’s favorite tiara, an ethereal white dress by Jenny Packham, and an extravagant collection of jewels.
The celebration at Buckingham Palace was held in honor of South African President Cyril Ramaphosa, who is staying with the royal family for two days.
Although much could be said about Queen Mary’s Lover’s Knot Tiara, which she wore and which was formerly owned by Queen Elizabeth II, and of course her stunning embellished cape-sleeved ivory dress, it was her “Cinderella” moment that really caught our attention.
The princess chose a stunning pair of Gianvito Rossi nude and silver bejeweled mesh pumps “The Rania pumps from are a true Cinderella shoe, lavishly adorned with clusters of Swarovski crystals, according to the brand. “Made from mesh with suede inserts, they perch on 105mm stiletto heels,” the brand adds. At your upcoming gala, put yours on with a gown.” The shoes are available in a variety of colorways and retail for £1,850.
Catherine previously wore the glistening footwear from the Milan-based designer on her final night in The Bahamas during her royal tour in March. She accessorized with matching Van Cleef & Arpels jewelry, including a delicate necklace and drop earrings, and the “Blue Satin Hayworth Clutch Bag” from Lulu Guinness, which sold out right away. She wore them with a turquoise satin dress by couture wedding dress designer Phillipa Lepley.
