The Princess of Wales stole the show at the state banquet honoring South African President Cyril Ramaphosa on Tuesday night at Buckingham Palace.
Since this is Catherine and William’s first official event as the Prince and Princess of Wales, the banquet is a significant turning point in their royal careers. Royal fans were eager to see what Catherine would wear. They were most definitely not let down! The Princess always has a gorgeous appearance, but this appearance was even more glitzy than usual.

The gorgeous Lover’s Knot tiara that the 40-year-old wore complemented her stunning Jenny Packham “Elspeth” dress, which was white and embellished with sequins, to perfection.
The design, which dates to 2021, could be worn as a wedding gown; in fact, Jenny Packham’s bridal Instagram account features it.
Catherine also wore the GCVO Star and Sash in addition to the Royal Family Order.

In addition, Catherine was sporting earrings and a bracelet that belonged to the late Princess of Wales, Diana.
The mother-of-three changed out of her eye-catching outfit she wore in the morning earlier that day while she was out.
Catherine wore an elegant tailored coat from Emilia Wickstead to brave the chilly autumn weather while meeting the president of South Africa, and she looked flawless for the poignant occasion.
The Princess of Wales’ feather brooch, a royal heirloom given to the late Princess Diana when she married Prince Charles in 1981, went perfectly with the royal’s silhouette-skimming coat made of rich burgundy wool.

The brunette royal wore a stylish pillbox hat with an oversized bow on top of her enviable brunette hair, which was styled in loose curls to frame her pretty features. Soft bronzer, understated eye makeup, and rosy blush were used by Princess Catherine to accentuate her youthful glow.
Catherine carried her Mulberry “Bayswater” clutch in “Cranberry Suede,” one of her most cherished handbags. She also added “Gianvito 105” Royale Burgundy suede pumps by Gianvito Rossi to stick with the berry theme.
