Royal Family Likely To ‘Cut Off’ Prince Harry & Meghan Markle if They Share Private Jubilee Details

It’s probably safe to say Prince Harry and Meghan Markle didn’t get the warm welcome they were hoping for at the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, but a storm may be brewing now that they’re back in the United Kingdom. According to reports, the royals are prepared to cut Meghan and Harry off if they discuss the private, behind-the-scenes details of the weekend’s events.

What happened that the royals are so afraid of the public finding out?

1.Now, according to a royal expert, “the real test begins.”

Even if they don’t realize it, Harry and Meghan’s loyalty to his family is being tested now that the events are over and they’re back in Santa Barbara, California, according to biographer Duncan Larcombe of Closer magazine.

“They’ve come to the UK and to the Jubilee and really cemented themselves as royals again,” he told the magazine, “which is great for their brand and something that Spotify, Netflix, and Penguin will eat up.”

2.By leaking information to the public, Harry and Meghan could jeopardize everything.

“Everything now hinges on how they act in the future. The royal family has clearly extended an olive branch here “According to Larcombe. “However, if any private information about [the Jubilee] weekend was spoken about in the press or revealed in a book, Harry and Meghan would ruin that.”

After all, Harry’s memoir, which is set to be released later this year, is likely to be finished or in the final stages of editing.

3.This is also an opportunity for them to regain royal favor.

If Harry and Meghan can show they’ll keep their mouths shut, Larcombe believes this could be a chance for them to reconcile with the royals after years of feuding.

“If they act responsibly and demonstrate that they can be trusted, it could be a huge step forward and the start of a new beginning,” he said.

“The presence of Harry and Meghan will have been problematic because a great deal of trust has been broken,” Larcombe added. “I can’t imagine there would have been much interaction, or any heart-to-hearts, because the royals will be worried that whatever they say might end up in Harry’s memoir or on a future podcast.”

He went on to say that it’s “uncharted territory” for them because no royal couple has ever been as candid about what goes on behind the scenes as Harry and Meghan.

But, given Harry’s limited contact with his family (including his brother), it’s unlikely that he has anything particularly juicy to share with the general public.

But we’ll be ready for that memoir as soon as it hits the shelves. It’ll be a good one whether or not it includes details about their visit to the celebration honoring Queen Elizabeth’s 70 years on the throne.
