The Duke and Duchess of Sussex's son turns five on 6 May

How Prince Archie will celebrate his 5th birthday

Royal fans will undoubtedly be curious about how Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s son will commemorate Prince Archie’s birthday on May 6th.

Archie’s plans for the day have not yet been made official, but if it is anything like his fourth birthday, it will be a low-key celebration.

The adorable $14 million Montecito mansion that the young prince shares with his parents and sister Princess Lilibet is believed to have been the venue for his fourth birthday celebration.

According to reports, there will be a low-key celebration at home. They’ll be surrounded by friends and Meghan’s mother, Doria [Ragland]. That weekend, Meghan will undoubtedly have support.” Princess Lilibet, the younger sister of Prince Archie, will also be present to celebrate alongside her older brother.

Netflix’s Harry & Meghan features a scene from Archie’s first birthday. The prince was seen sitting in his confetti-covered high chair, sporting a charming hat and a stunning cake with fruit on top.

Given that Meghan is known to bake her kids a homemade lemon olive oil cake and is entering the food industry with her line of jams for her new lifestyle brand American Riviera Orchard, we can assume she isn’t opposed to making her son’s cake.

Archie’s parents reportedly gave him a bike, which Mad Dogs & Englishmen Bike Shop in California personally delivered.

Despite being born in London, Meghan and Harry’s son has spent every birthday in the United States.

Compared to Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 9, who celebrated her ninth birthday earlier this week, and Prince Louis of Wales, 6, Archie’s cousins are probably going to have more subdued birthday celebrations.

On their birthdays, Princess Kate and Prince William’s kids typically post a fresh photo of the birthday boy or girl that their mother took to social media.

The birthday celebrations for the children of Wales have varied from parties at Anmer Hall in Norfolk to afternoon tea at Kensington Palace. Like their cousin Prince Archie, they too get new toys for their birthdays.

Once, Julia Samuel, Prince George’s godmother, made the joke, “I do to George what [Diana] did to us, which is give impossible toys that are really noisy and take a lot of making.”

In addition, Princess Kate established a sweet custom. In the Mary Berry’s A Berry Royal Christmas 2019 episode, Kate disclosed that she “stays up until midnight” to prepare cakes for her kids’ birthdays.

It has also been reported that Archie’s parents enjoy a low-key birthday celebration away from the limelight. When Prince Harry concluded his yearly tour to the Invictus Games by celebrating his 39th birthday in Dusseldorf last September.

He is reported to have eaten at Schumacher Brewery, a traditional German restaurant, where he enjoyed a bratwurst sausage and a pint of the local beer.
