The Duke of Sussex has appeared via video link

Prince Harry reappears following coronation attendance confirmation

Following the announcement that he will attend the King’s coronation alone, without his wife the Duchess of Sussex, the Duke of Sussex has resurfaced via video call.

In support of his beloved Invictus Games, Prince Harry made a rare video call appearance, and on Tuesday, his image was displayed at a gathering in Berlin.

Prince Harry will be attending King Charles III’s coronation without Meghan

The Duke used the occasion to express gratitude to the Prime Minister, lawmakers, team Germany, and everyone present for their support.

He appeared against a plain white background, dressed in a navy suit and crisp white shirt, with a plant to one side of him. Although it is unknown if the royal was filming from his $14 million Montecito mansion, it is likely given that the couple has an office and a studio there for business purposes.

Meghan will stay in California with the children

It is unknown whether the King’s son will participate in the coronation or will just be present. “I’d be surprised if he had a specific role,” said Emily Nash, royal editor for HELLO!, “but I think he will attend the ceremony like other members of the royal family without necessarily taking part.”

The royal is rumored to be staying at Windsor’s Frogmore Cottage during the quick trip, and Harry will have many memories of living there with his wife Meghan Markle when they first welcomed Prince Archie into the world.

The Duchess of Sussex is not attending the event on 6 May

King Charles had previously asked the royals to vacate the grounds, so this will likely be their final stay there.

According to the official statement confirming the coronation, “The Duchess of Sussex will remain in California with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.” This may be due to the fact that Prince Archie’s birthday is on May 6, the day of the coronation.
