When he made a star appearance at the late Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations last year, he captured the world’s attention by showcasing his exuberant sense of humor.

Prince Louis, who is now five years old, is all grown up but still a lot of fun, as these adorable new pictures demonstrate.

The Princess of Wales, the young Prince’s adoring mother, is seen pushing the wheelbarrow of garden weeds while the child sits inside it and smiles at something off-screen.

He is dressed for outdoor play in the garden of his family’s home in Windsor in blue shorts and a checked shirt underneath a bright blue fair isle sweater.

Last week, Millie Pilkington took the pictures on the property of the family’s Windsor home.

Since she was the wedding photographer for the Prince and Princess in 2011, Millie has had a close relationship with them. She is renowned for taking beautiful portraits of infants and young children.

Prince Louis, who is fourth in line to the throne, will march in the Coronation Procession from Westminster Abbey to Buckingham Palace on May 6 after his grandfather the King is crowned, along with his parents and older siblings Prince George, 9, and Princess Charlotte, almost 8.

A family friend tells HELLO!, “He’s so grown up all of a sudden, and has a big year ahead.”

Louis has already experienced one significant public carriage ride after making his debut in the Trooping the Colour procession to commemorate the late Queen’s anniversary last June.

The youngest child of William and Catherine has become more visible over the past year, attending the Easter Sunday service at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor with the family earlier this month and waving to the crowds on Christmas Day as the group made its way from the church to Sandringham House.

However, he is perhaps best known for making a number of hilarious memes when, while watching the military flypast with his late great-grandmother Queen Elizabeth last June, he was seen on the balcony of Buckingham Palace with his hands over his ears.

He continued to amuse royal observers with his antics, sticking his tongue out and thumbing his nose at his mother Catherine, kissing her on the cheek, pointing his fingers in the air, and later jumping up and down on the knee of his grandfather Wales, who is now King Charles III.

Even Mike Tindall teased him, jokingly pointing at his own eyes as if to warn the youngster that he was watching him.

He seemed to be well received by the Prince and Princess, who later wrote on social media: “We all had an incredible time…especially Louis.” with a side-eye emoji.

Prince Louis Arthur Charles was born on April 23, 2018, at 11:01 a.m. Just hours later, he met his older brother and sister for the first time.

While the family was still residing in Apartment 1a at Kensington Palace, he spent a year at Willcocks Nursery in that neighborhood.

At Adelaide Cottage in Windsor, where the Wales family now resides and all three children attend Lambrook School, five-year-old Louis is having a picture-perfect childhood.
