Kate Middleton unquestionably gets along well with her in-laws, especially with her grandmother-in-law, the Queen.
When the couple joined the monarch in Nottingham for the Diamond Jubilee celebrations during the first year of Kate’s marriage to Prince William, it was evident how closely they were bonded.
In a video that has since surfaced online, Kate can be seen giving the Queen a tender kiss on the cheek as she arrives at Nottingham train station in June 2012.
Kate has accompanied her Majesty to numerous events over the years, including their visit to King’s College London together in 2019. The two attended this engagement alone for the first time without any other family members.
The Duchess once shared a problem that is universally relatable and always shows the Queen the utmost respect. taking the lead in the ITV documentary Our Queen 90-year-old Kate admitted that she was stumped as to what to give the Queen for Christmas but ultimately chose to make her own homemade chutney using her own grandmother’s recipe.

Kate remarked, “She (the Queen) really cares.” “I recall spending Christmas at Sandringham for the first time. And I was concerned about what to get the Queen for Christmas.
“Gosh, what should I get her?” I wondered. I considered what gifts I would give to my own grandparents. I decided that I would make her something. which might have disastrously gone wrong. But I made the chutney per my grandmother’s recipe.

“I was a little concerned about it, but the next day I saw that it was on the table,” Kate continued. She has done that on numerous occasions, and I’ve noticed how much of an impact it had on me. I believe it simply demonstrates her thoughtfulness and concern for everyone.
