In honor of Archie and Lili, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex gave $5,000 after George Zafjen, 9, tragically passed away.

After hearing about George’s passing, Harry and Meghan donated through a GoFundMe page created on behalf of Kelly McKee Zafjen, George’s mother.

The 42-year-old ex-model shared the heartbreaking news with her followers on Instagram.

Kelly penned an emotional tribute to her son George

Under a picture of George riding on his twin sister’s back in the sun, Kelly wrote: “My sweet baby boy. My entire world has broken into a billion pieces. I’m having trouble breathing. Walk, perform, sit, and stand. You were my source of inspiration. Your heart was the most perfect and sweetest, and your smile lit up the room.

She continued, “You left this Earth and left behind so many people who loved you, and I am utterly heartbroken. I’m not sure how I’m able to continue. how well I can perform. I don’t know how, but I’ll try. How can I ever again be the light and be joyful? For your lovely twin sister, work hard.

Although the relationship between Kelly and the Sussexes is still unknown, it’s possible that Meghan was close with the Zafjens. Trevor Engelson, Meghan’s ex-husband, and his wife Tracey Kurland also gave $1,000, raising the possibility that Meghan and Trevor knew the family while they were dating.

Family friend Kate Jefferson established the GoFundMe page and organized the fundraiser on behalf of Kate and her grieving family. She stated: “My name is Kate and I’m raising money for the Zajfen family so that they can mourn the loss of their sweet angel boy, George, in the description box.
