The Duchess of Sussex gave the sweetest nod to her doting husband

Meghan Markle caught in flirty exchange with Prince Harry during Austin talk

When Meghan Markle was on stage at the SXSW Conference and Festival at the Austin Convention Centre on Friday, she had the cutest flirtatious conversation with her husband, Prince Harry.

At the 2024 SXSW Conference and Festival, the 42-year-old duchess joined Errin Haines, Katie Couric, Brooke Shields, and Nancy Wang Yuen on stage to form the Breaking Barriers, Shaping Narratives: How Women Lead On and Off the Screen panel.

The conference is billed as “providing an opportunity for the global community of digital creatives to encounter cutting-edge ideas, discover new interests, and network with other professionals who share a similar appetite for forward-focused experiences.”

“Among the many blessings in my life, I’m lucky to have an amazing partner,” Meghan remarked, holding up her hand to indicate her devoted husband who was seated in the audience.

“My husband is such a hands-on dad and such a supporter of me and our family and that I don’t take for granted,” she said. That truly is a blessing. However, many others lack that same degree of assistance.”

Therefore, I believe that our goal is to implement the same degree of security so that parents, in particular, and women, won’t feel even more exposed when using the internet. that they sense—in some way—that they are moving to a safer location,” Meghan said.

Fans might not have noticed Meghan’s subtly hinting at Harry, though. As the Duchess started to speak, she turned to face Katie Couric, another panellist, but before she finished, she gave Harry a tender wink from the audience. Meghan even donned the Guiliva Heritage “Husband Shirt” for the occasion.

Harry was visibly happy for his wife, who had shared on the panel about facing hate online, as he sat there in the audience. “What I find the most disturbing frankly, especially as a supporter of women, is how much of the hate is women completely spewing that to other women,” she stated. “I cannot make sense of that.”

The former Suits star continued by criticising powerful women for allowing “very inciting comments.” She went on to explain, saying: “A large number of women who work in these fields at the highest executive level are outstanding philanthropists and advocates for women.

“And yet they’re allowing this kind of behaviour to run rampant,” she said. “And at a certain point, they have got to put the dos behind the says and really make some changes on a systemic level.”

The former actress declined to discuss her husband’s specific relatives or the royal family as a whole. She did, however, think back on the abuse she had received online when she was first raising her son Archie.

“The bulk of the bullying and abuse I was experiencing on social media and online was when I was pregnant or with a newborn,” she stated. “And you just think about that and you really have to wrap your head around why people would be so hateful.”

Fans of the couple may remember that in their 2022 Netflix documentary Harry & Meghan, Meghan and Harry talked extensively about their experiences with cyberbullying.
