Prior to the King’s coronation on May 6, relations between Prince Harry and the rest of the royal family are still tense.
Although they have accepted the invitation to the historic event, Harry and his wife Meghan Markle have not yet indicated whether they will fly from Los Angeles to London to attend.
Royal fans did notice a cute connection between Harry and Charles in a recent post from the Royal Family, despite the Prince’s estrangement from his father and brother Prince William.
Two images were posted on Instagram on Sunday in honor of Mother’s Day in the UK: one featured Queen Consort Camilla and her late mother, Rosalind, and the other featured King Charles as a young boy and his mother, the Queen.
The King experienced a particularly difficult day because it was the first Mother’s Day since his “beloved mama” had died on September 8, 2022.
Fans adored the adorable photo of Charles as a chubby toddler grinning for the camera while being held ecstatically by the Queen as he stands on her lap.
While many paid the late monarch loving tributes, others immediately noticed a startling family resemblance.
“Has anyone noticed how similar the King and Harry look in this picture? ” One remarked, “At first I thought it was Harry lol,” and another admitted as much. “Exactly what I was thinking,” a third said.
“I thought Louis looked very similar too,” a fourth person said.
Not just King Charles and Queen Consort Camilla participated in the royal celebration of Mother’s Day.
Two never-before-seen family photos were shared by the Prince and Princess of Wales to mark the occasion.
The first one featured Kate and their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, sitting in a tree, while the second one featured the Princess cradling and smiling down at their youngest.
The stunning pictures are from a previous photo shoot that happened at Anmer Hall in Norfolk last summer and were taken by royal family photographer Matt Porteous.
However, some royal fans are confused because of the timing of the post.
