Although Prince William’s passion for Aston Villa is well known, he revealed on Friday night that he, along with his two oldest children, Prince George, 10, and Princess Charlotte, 9, are true Swifties.
On the eve of his 42nd birthday, the future King spent an exciting evening at Wembley Stadium with his children. Reports went viral. Alongside Zara Tindall, William’s cousin, they were spotted dancing to Taylor Swift’s “Shake It Off” as the singer began her Eras tour in London.
One thing is for sure, the Wales trio looked like they were having a blast. The special evening was packed with everything Taylor, starting with a meet and greet with the woman herself and her sports star beau as well. The evening concluded with a swift exit to avoid the crowds.

Meeting Taylor Swift
A picture of the amazing encounter between Prince William, Prince George, and Princess Charlotte and the All Too Well singer—just twenty-five minutes before her performance—was posted on the Prince and Princess of Wales’ official social media accounts on Saturday.
The Wales’ arrival didn’t quite go as planned; an insider told HELLO! that they ended up being a little late.They had a terrible time entering and were running extremely late, but they had intended to arrive early to meet Taylor in advance and have a meet and greet since they knew they wanted to depart early.
“They only had 25 minutes to spare so had a quick meet and greet and then went up to their box before the show, and there was a bit of stress and panic about that because it was taking too long.”
Taylor posted a picture of herself on social media with the British royals and her devoted boyfriend, American sports star Travis Kelce, who was in the audience. It was obvious that Taylor was happy to meet the royal family.
In a hilarious reference to William’s birthday, Taylor wrote as the image’s caption, “Happy Bday M8! The London stage is off to a fantastic beginning.”
Everything Centered Around The Children
Though it was William’s night, it was really all about his kids. According to our insider, the father of three made an effort to maintain a low profile during the show so that his kids could enjoy it. They continued: “Most of the time he and the kids were further back so they didn’t draw too much attention, but there were moments where they were at the front so a lot of swapping was happening.”
Social media users have been sharing videos of Prince showing off his moves while Charlotte wailed her hands and wore a light-up bracelet.
William’s youngest child, Prince Louis, did not attend the show, nor did his wife, the Princess of Wales, who is currently receiving cancer preventive chemotherapy.
Last Saturday, the Princess made her first appearance in public of the year when she went to Trooping the Colour. She made a heartfelt statement prior to her appearance, in which she described her experience with her treatment thus far and acknowledged that she “has good days and bad days.”

William and Charlotte’s Special Moment
It’s no secret that Prince William and Princess Charlotte have a unique bond, so it’s not surprising that Taylor’s concert served as the impetus for yet another priceless moment between the father and daughter.
Our insider described specifics of a moment when the two were enjoying a heartfelt sing-along. “There was one sweet moment where William and Charlotte were sat next to each other at the front and you could tell they were having a little sing-song together which was cute.”

The Tindalls Join The Fun
William’s cousins, the Tindalls, who he shares a very special bond with, lived beside the Wales clan. Mike and Zara arrived at the performance with their two stunning daughters, five-year-old Lena and ten-year-old Mia. Joined by their friend Natalie Pinkham, the Tindall crew did not let their outfits inspired by Taylor disappoint.
The horseback rider looked amazing, dressed for the event in a bomber jacket reminiscent of Taylor. Zara accessorized her ensemble, fit for a concert, with a glitzy pair of sunglasses and short cowboy boots made of light denim hot pants.
Her husband Mike, meanwhile, was rocking a T-shirt that said, “You need to calm down,” underneath a shirt that was pastel pink and cream in color. Mike shared a cute moment with his youngest daughter Lena, who was also fully dressed in an outfit inspired by Taylor. Her ice-blonde hair was arranged into two French plaits, and she was wearing a big T-shirt dress covered in pictures of the celebrity. There were friendship bracelets all over her arms as well.

Since Catherine’s diagnosis, Zara and her husband Mike Tindall have been William’s biggest supporters. They also helped him out at the royal garden parties he threw back in May.
A Swift Exit
The royals were forced to leave early as the concert was coming to an end, departing ten minutes ahead of schedule in order to avoid the throng of excited Swifties.
“In order to avoid the crowds, they departed about ten minutes before the end. Everyone was having a great time celebrating Prince William’s birthday, and their box was buzzing!”
