Royal Family Shares Photo of Prince Philip with Queen Elizabeth and Prince Charles on Father’s Day

Prince Philip is honoured on Father’s Day.

On Father’s Day, which was the first since his death, the late prince, who would have turned 100 earlier this month, was remembered by his family.

Queen Elizabeth’s official Instagram post featured a stunning black-and-white vintage photo of the queen with three generations of fathers.

The Queen and her late husband, as well as the monarch’s late father, King George VI, were depicted with a young Prince Charles in the photograph. As Charles sits on a statue at Scotland’s Balmoral Castle, his parents are watching.

“To all fathers worldwide, we wish you a very wonderful Father’s Day,” the caption read.

Prince William and Kate Middleton paid tribute to several of their fathers, including William’s late grandfather.

On their official social media account, they posted a short video of a bulletin board with the words “Happy Father’s Day” pinned to it. The board featured photos of the Duke of Cambridge, his father, Kate Middleton’s father Michael Middleton, and the Duke of Edinburgh.

“Wishing dads around the world a wonderful Father’s Day,” they wrote in the caption.

Clarence House, the home of Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, also revealed some throwbacks.

Their official Instagram account posted a photo of Prince William as a child with his late father, as well as a photo of William and Prince Harry. The post also included a photo of Camilla with her late father, Bruce Shand.
